Best Interests of the Children
This is a book long overdue to be written. It is based on the two authors’ knowledge and experience as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) volunteers, known as CASA in some states. The authors paint a vivid portrait of how the State Department of Children and Families (DCF) work nationally to protect abandoned, neglected or abused children, and often why they fail to do so.
